nice compact size

The smaller size works perfectly in my pantry. Not as powerful as my old one, but smaller, so understandable. The reheat option doesn't have the count-down feature of my old one either, but still works.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This Is Our Second Microwave

Our original 1994 microwave of this style still worked, but it was white and we've switched our kitchen appliances over to stainless steel. We love this newest version because the '94 didn't have the turntable and was quite a bit louder. This 2015 version has the turntable and is VERY quiet. We are pleased. We were relegated to this brand/model because of the cutout in the cupboard for it.

Not as good as the model it replaces

This replaced an old spacemaker I had that was originally purchased and used in a built in open cabinet space. This is the 3rd one in 20 years (although the last one only lasted a short amount of that time). Why they decided to change the dimensions is beyond understanding - this is taller than all the others and the extra height does not give any meaningful extra space inside. Now it 'just fits' with no room for manuevering in the space we have it placed. The control panel on this model needs more pressure to work and the identification of controls is printed with such a light font they are hard to see in an area with not much light - unlike the last one I had. Unfortunately, the design changes made to this microwave made it worse not better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Old Reliable

This is our 3rd unit in 35 years. It works well. We like them. Love that this new oven is so QUIET.
The only draw back is the size. They are a tiny bit bigger so if you have or had a built in... it won't fit. You have to make modifications. Our sales person forewarned us, so it wasn't too much of a problem.

It is quite wide

It is reasonably quite, though the beep is a bit loud. It need not be so wide. The reheat feature seems to get the items too hot so we never use it.

Space saver fits in narrow niche

Works well bur is over priced for features.
The alarm toots 1 time so if you aren't nearby will miss the timer alarm. The turntable is smaller than the monogram version The only reason I selected GE this time is the footprint as other manufacturers offered more features for less than half the cost.
