Clean and stylish with power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been a couple of weeks now that the unit and trim kit has been installed and is looks great. The trim kit provides a clean and stylish look and overal looks very pro.
The microwave has tons of room on the inside and does a great job cooking.
For power savings the front digi clock turns off after 5 minutes which is nice considering it’s a power saving feature, but it’s the only clock in the kitchen. Would have liked an option to set this to stay on. Otherwise, the unit and trim kit are great!
Pros: Style/Design, Quality

Waste of Money - Trim Kit MK2030F

Is there a way to rate this product with "ZERO STARS"? There is a reason there are so many poor reviews of this product on the web. I am an above-average do it yourselfer and many of the problems cited in those reviews were encountered during this install. The trim kit frame is flimsy and held by plastic brackets at the corners using some type of double sided adhesive that is sticking out of the edge. When taken out of the box, the corners all appear to have small indentations where the stainless is affixed to the plastic brackets. It looks horrible installed with brand new appliances. Using the templates and following the instructions verbatim results in not being able to open the door all the way. The trim kit is not flat and will not sit flat on the opening even though everything is level. Could go on and on...... Not buying another LG product. In addition, the microwave itself has a turntable issue.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Think twice before you buy

You have to wonder about an appliance that dies after 6 months of very light use. Although it was repaired under warranty and works now, what happens when it dies after another six months. I bought LG because of the perceived quality of their product line. I'll think trwice before buying another LG product. There is a descrepancy between the warranty time listed on-line and the manual that was included with the appliance. On-line: 1 yr parts & labor, manual: 2 yrs part & labor. Which is correct?

My wife and I decided to redo our kitchen and due to building codes in our area we were forced to get a stand-alone Microwave w/the trim kit. It looks fantastic and works even better. It is big, really big and use it each and every day. So far no problems.

From the time I turned it on....it seemed like something was causing it to rumble. As if the plate you placed items on was installed the wrong way...Something wasn't right..So, after a week I exchanged it for the same make and model number.. it works great...and yes, now i would recommend it to anyone...

broken rotating ring

This microwave is so quiet that at first I didn't think it was working. The only complaint I have about it is that the sensor cook option doesn't seem to work too well for cooking baked potatoes.
