We upgraded from a 5.0 to this 5.7 cf washer. What a difference. This LG is great. The cycle times are a little longer than the smaller machine but that’s to be expected with the greater capacity.

DESERT WASHING MADE EASY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought mine brand new in 2017 AND had it installed by professionals. Water supply was checked prior as I moved into a house with no water softener and I have a pool so that was important to ensure everything would run smooth.
I happen to be on the site as my 1000 page (not really) instructional manual is missing and OMG the things it can do! Also, I have never run the TUB CLEAN cycle.. That said, I try to limit kids/guests use and keep it and the LG Dryer extremely clean.

Rusting top cover.

After five years the top cover around the bleach dispenser is rusting out and getting in the washer. Not to good for people who bought a high dollar washer to clean their clothes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this washer several years ago. My wife washes every day! Sometimes they're heavy loads but, typically the loads are medium. We've call in the technician only about once a year for servicing but it works like a charm!
One piece of advice, run the "Tub Clean" cycle with one cup of white vinegar once a year and, just like any other product, have it serviced once a year to keep it running like new.

It finally broke 2 weeks ago and called customer service and was quickly arranged an appointment with their technician. Took a week but now it’s working like new again.
