Love the colors for my girly side, but the best is the durability. I have grandchildren who like to play games on my phone and I love that I don't have to worry about any damage. It is really a tough case.

Charging port cover and headphone jack cover barely stay closed and stick up over the edge of the case. Hard plastic shell should come up higher on the sides past the volume button and the sleep button on the right. The soft rubber inside layer is baggy where the hard shell ends on the sides and I am constantly pushing the soft rubber piece up onto the face of the phone. The case would be a lot better if the hard shell would extend past the buttons to keep everything tight. I am not currently using this case. I have since purchased a different one.

Cons: port convers don't fit tight, soft rubber is loose above volume button

The buttons on the phone are so close to the bottom ridge of the Otterbox case - I am constantly hitting the wrong thing because there's no room for my thumb or finger to get to the correct button. It's not a matter of getting used to it. It is a consistent problem - one that is having me consider buying a different phone altogether. I won't buy anything but an Otterbox to protect my phones but this one just isn't working for me. If it had lowered spaces (notches) on the bottom ridge below each of the buttons, it would work much better.

Big disappointment. Dropped on hardwood floor and screen cracked. Does not protect screen. I do not recommend this for the note 3. Don't bother calling because they only cover damage to the case not the phone. I thought the cases protect the phones. Never buying again.
Cons: Low quality, Not durable, no screen protection

I was given a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 when I started my new job a month ago. I'd never owned a smartphone before and knew that I needed some kind of protection for their investment. Plus, I'd dropped my smaller cellphone a million times and didn't want to risk damaging this one! I'd heard great things about Otterbox, and knew that was the "one to have". I read reviews about the different styles and decided on the Commuter style, as I really don't want something bulky and heavy. So far I have been very happy with it, I had to get blue though, because (and this is my only complaint), the pink one was more of a salmon color and that's not the pink I like. I am so glad I got an Otterbox!

The case is slim, protective and attractive. However, the Commuter Case has a slick back panel. While this makes it easy in/out of a pocket it does little to aid in gripping this large phone when texting. Additionally, I would include a holster for times when jeans or dress pants are worn.

This case fits my need very well. It slides in and out of my pocket easily and has a great feel. Only two complaints. One is that the jack covers don't always stay closed, the second is that it's not water proof.
Pros: High quality
Cons: not water proof, flaps come open sometimes
