Great looking microwave with lots of features

We bought this microwave to replace a failed model from another manufacturer. It is stylishly designed and has great features. For example the fan has 4 speeds and it really works to vent heat from the stove top. The light can be used as a night light and has a timer feature. There are many settings for defrost and cooking various foods. We haven't tried all of them yet but the ones we have tried work well. The interior is spacious and the power is good (cooking is fast).
Pros: stylish, lots of features, spacious interior, lots of power, easy to install

Great Microwave

This is the first over range microwave that we have owned. I installed it my self. It is great that you can choose to vent outside or inside. The fan on this is like a tornado! Love the options and ease of cleaning. We have cooked a lot of items in it, and it does it well. The LED light is great, use it as night light also.
Controls are easy to use, features a lot of options. We enjoy it daily.

Giant paperweight

I purchased this microwave in October of 2012 and I'm planning on replacing it. It has once again stopped heating. This was an issue in April of 2013 that was repaired under warranty. If you combine that with its inability to use the fan and heat at the same time, interior light flickering every time the door is opened, and display randomly resetting itself, I'd call this microwave a waste of money. It's not as much of a waste as my Samsung oven but, that's a separate review.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, poor performance

This microwave was purchased in 9/2013 and in 11/2014 it no longer heats food. The product is out of warranty, so we need to purchase a new microwave.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, broke after 14 months

Didn't work out of the box- still doesn't

This unit was purchased roughly four months ago. Six tech visits and three repair parts later it still doesn't work. The most frustrating appliance I've ever owned.
Pros: features if it worked
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, doesn't work, can't be repaired

Purchased the suite because I remodeled. Like the features. However, too many issues with control panel or mother board. Microwave and dish washer stop working just before 1 year is up. Samsung can do a better job and give customers a better product by listening to the customer and trying to solve the electronic defects. When they work, very nice. Puchased because others I know purchased this suite. I did not have luck with the dishwasher or microwave. The microwave was only used to warm food. Never did cook in it. Dish washer locks up, can't change settings then stop before cycle was complete with auto smart light and normal light on. Does not follow what is in manual to fix issues. Electronic and computer issue once again with mother board or control panel. Hope this helps all consumers as well as Samsung.
Pros: nice features for someone who likes stainless stee

We have a new over the range microwave that is very stylish and has many nice features! When it works it covers all my needs. Unfortunately we are experiencing some problems with the power cutting out when you open the door. You hear a clicking sound and the light flickers on and off. Then you have to reset the clock and it works again. We have reset the electrical breaker and the problem keeps happening. This is very annoying for a new product. I have read some reviews that other people were experiencing the same problems!! I will be calling Samsung to get this repaired which I hope I'm not charged a fee since it's under warranty.

Stylish replacement that failed after 24 months

I love the design of this microwave and the capacity, but failure to perform makes it a good-looking paperweight. This microwave replaced another Samsung failed microwave, and worked wonderfully, however, after about two and a half years, it started to lose its settings and repeatedly needed to be unplugged and/or be reset. A repairman removed the door and supposedly fixed the issue about 3-4 months ago, but now it is doing the same thing. Upon resetting the clock and trying to microwave something, it will count down, but doesn't light up when opening the door, nor will it function. This is too expensive to continue to fix, I'm sorry we went through two Samsung microwaves to conclude that despite the power, capacity, style, features and ease of use that made the Samsungs attractive, we will not spend this kind of money on lack of reliability again. This is the same issue that made the store replace our first Samsung microwave, and yes, we have had the wiring and breakers checked with extremely reliable electricians both times to rule out any electrical faults.
Pros: Bright display, very stylish, large capacity, shortened cooking time
Cons: continues to fail
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
