Wouldn't Want To Be Without my Blend-N-Go

I purchased an Oster® Designed for Life Pre-Programmed Blender with Reversing blade technology when my husband broke the glass blender container for our inexpensive Oster blender we had for many years. I did some research and found the Designed for Life Oster blender mentioned above. My husband doesn't get excited about much but he actually remarked how much he liked the new Oster blender I had purchased. Since my husband has broken 3 blender containers since I have known him, I decided to purchase a spare container from Oster.com. (The containers have broken not due to defects but due to my husband's errors). I noticed this Blend-N-Go and thought it would be a great accessory for me since I make protein shakes all the time. I really adore this accessory. I had to work with it a little bit to figure out how to get the best results but it wasn't that big of a deal. I put my banana
in first, then my small ice cubes, milk and then protein powder. My new Oster blender has a pre-programmed setting for drinks. Best blended protein shake ever in this Blend-N-Go due to blending in a small container. My shakes are extremely smooth with no ice, fruit or protein powder granules. What an amazing investment I made in purchasing this Blend-N-Go.

Love the concept, needs to tweak a bit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was SUPER excited to purchase this addition to my already great Oster blender. It does a good job blending in the bottle, however, drinking from the spout is a little cumbersome. Maybe make a slightly bigger hole to allow the liquid to flow out better when trying to drink from it? I also can't quite get to all of my healthy smoothie, so I end up having to unscrew it from my cup so I can finish my drink. Other than that, I'm pleased with it.

Cup will crack at the seam

Purchased two months ago and have been using daily since. The seam where the plastic is molded together on the tab that prevents the cup from spinner in the blender has already cracked. Turn on the blender and you will have your drink spray out of the side. I have an older version which is much sturdier because the plastic is thicker. Too bad Oster doesn't make them anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOVE THIS SMOOTHIE KIT!

This is the best idea ever. Have been using it for a couple of years now and many other people have asked me where it came from. It is perfect for smoothies, shakes, etc. A large straw will fit through the hole at the top or you can just turn it sideways to get all of the liquid out without hitting your face with the lid (as others have complained about). Made of BPA free plastic, so it won't break!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my Blend-N-Go kit and I am absolutely thrilled with it! I've been using the Fusion blender with glass pitcher exclusively for years now and can finally put the heavy glass away until I need it for something else. The blend n go cup is so easy to use and to clean. My protein smoothies blend perfectly, even with all the frozen fruit, egg white and almond milk frozen cubes added. I'm so impressed that I just ordered a second one to have on hand. I use a long smoothie straw for convenience and I just popped the top off to get it out of my way when drinking from cup. It pops right back on easily.

We use these for smoothies daily! The only problem is they don't sell them in stores near me anymore, so I can't get them for my parents now.
