What's great about it: It has all expected connections + USB.
What's not so great: Doesn't work with iPod's dock.
Got this cable a few days ago hoping that it will be a good replacement for iPod's dock since the store did not have the original Apple white component cable available. Well, it works fine connected directly to the iPod but not through the iPod's dock where it only transmits audio but no video.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: It works well/as intended, easy to use, portable
What's not so great: Price, could be gold plated but there is a rocketfish brand one that is
Got this cable today to watch Netflix through my iPhone and it works great on my 50" tv. There is no pixelation or distortion of the picture that I can see. The cable is thick and seems to be of good quality minus the fact that they are not gold plated.
It is a little expensive for a cable, but I've paid worse for less. The plugs fit snuggly into the tv and the iPhone/pod/pad plug is a little big. I need to remove my iPhone case to plug it in, but not too big of a deal. Overall, this plug does exactly what it is supposed to do and does it well.

*My iPhone needs to have an app open for it to show up on the tv (netflix, etc.) or else you get "no signal". Not a bad thing, but good to know before you try to plug it in and think it is not working properly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just got this from the best buy. Online it says it's compatible with iPod 4G but on the package, it doesn't list compatibility with iPod 4G. Stops at iPod 3G. So will check it and edit the review accordingly. Might return this if it's not compatible with iPod 4G and just get apple's component cable since it runs about the same price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
