Looks great but does not work.

I received this a while back and finally opened it. I plugged it in and placed a slice bread in the toaster but it would not stay down. I tried 10 to 20 time but the bread would not stay down to activate the heating element. This is crazy. A toaster has a simple job and it failed over and over again. I started reading other reviews and notice that others are having the same issue. It seems to be a quality control issue on the assembly line for this model of toasters. Is Sunbeam doing anything about this?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WORST Toaster ever!

This has to be the worst toaster in the world. The levers to pull down don’t work well and the heat settings are terrible. Burns the bottom and barley toasts the top.

JUNK!! Do not buy

I have had this toaster for less then a month. It was a fight from day one to get one or both sides to stay down, now today neither side will stay down!! What a waste of money!!
