This sealer has been nothing but poor

This sealer has not worked properly since we purchased it. After we seal one bag it will not seal another until it cools down is a real process to seal things when we have a lot to do. Would not purchase this same sealer V3835 ever again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great money saver

This unit is a replacement for our older professional grade unit which we had for about 6 years, using it almost daily. Before Foodsaver, I regularly threw away a lot of food from the freezer. After Foodsaver: virtually none! When it finally died, I had trouble going a week without it. This one looks great on my counter, and, although I have had it only a few weeks, I am very happy. Time will tell whether it stands up to my constant use. And, I do disagree with some other reviews that state there is about 2" of waste when sealing; my husband measured 1 1/4".....
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just started using this machine. It is the greatest. Very easy to use and all of the controls are easy to understand. It does a wonderful job of preparing foods for the freezer. It is so fun to use that you may have to get more bags right away.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Having a canning and storage background I can't help but wonder where I missed this product. It saves money and food quality for those who shop bargains and wish to hold on to that value. Sealing foods for daily use; long term storage; or shipping is a breeze with this product! Well worth the money.

We've had this vacuum sealer for over 2 years now and it saved us tons of money by letting us to store leftovers, etc. when we cannot eat it all in short periods. We are a small family of two, so it allows us to go to the store less often and buy more at a time since we can keep our produce fresh longer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

High Value; Does everything promised

This product is exactly as promised. Easy to use (fun, actually), compact, nice appearance, many uses, and quick clean up if needed. I showed it to a friend of mine and she was so impressed she ordered her own a week later.

Have had this one for over a year.its seals fine the first time and the second time won't suck out the air then seals it.have tried everything.will be donating it and not buying another.just a big waste of money.

If the vacuum sealer is not vacuuming all of the air out of the bag, we recommend wiping down the rubber gaskets around the vacuum channel with a damp cloth and allowing them to dry before vacuuming and sealing again. I have used a Food Saver vacuum sealer for at least 25 years. The original was by far the best and it also had the longest lifespan. When I tried to get replacement parts the were no longer available, hence I had to buy this one. Just after warranty expired the accessory hose no longer worked. I used it for marinating and on canisters when it did work it was great. This sealer cost a pretty penny so I am trying to research how to trouble shoot this issue.
I also do not think its not as good of a seal and its definitely takes longer for recovery.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
