[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 14 year old equivalent model. The new dishwasher is noticeably quieter, the water intake connection is improved and the silverware and dish placements are more efficient.

Runs so smoothly

Cleans dishes, pots, pans, utensils, plastics, glass, china, etc etc extremely well. They ALWAYS come out squeaky and sparkling clean.

This is the second Bosch dishwasher we have owned. This model is quiet, gets the dishes clean, and generally does the job we need it to do. I would purchase this again if I needed to.

Quiet, Attractive, but impractical design & layout

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upper rack section (width) for cups/glasses varies from right/left sides & I can only put coffee cups & mugs on the left side.
The poorly designed attachment for champagne & wine goblets isn't adjustable or removable.
When positioning my (misc sized) Waterford goblets they lay cock-eyed & stems don't stay in the slots, no matter what I do.

The utensil trays are practically worthless.
The "raised" shelfs inside the baskets, have absolutely NO APPARENT use & limits capacity. It's impossible to place more than 2-3 utensils in each section unless the handles go down first. We have always placed ours with handles up, to eliminate touching eating tongs/bowls of the utensils for sanitory reasons. Also we are no longer able to put small lids into the utensil tray due to the "shelf" which limits the depth & the cover does not to close

The lower rack has no adjustable racks, so I can no longer clean my pots, casseroles, skillets & pans, at the same time as my plates & bowls. The rack is strictly designed for only dishes & bowls.

While this dishwasher was quiet & cleaned well It was frustrating & my husband & I had a difficult time trying to follow the manual directions & start it the 1st time.
The poor layout, does not accommodate a variety of items.
I would never have purchased this model, if I had been given a choice or had been able to see & evaluate it at a store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome but,...........

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Frigidaire dishwasher was getting long in the tooth. Over the years, I did a couple of repairs on it, but it started making a loud noise. It washed well, but we were afraid it would catch on fire or something. So...... I had time to shop for a good dishwasher. I used several venues to get informed opinions and Bosch was over and over being recommended. I used Consumer Reports to pick this one. It was rated at the top beating several that was twice its amount. (Plus I work for a German Car Group and I have frontline experience with the quality of Bosch) I (we) love our Bosch except when it's done with its cycle, it emits a feeble beep which we rarely here. Some model projects a light onto the floor but this superb dishwasher does not do that. I wish Bosch offered a retro fit kit to remedy this, but they don't. Sigh, now we run it before we go to bed (if we remember) and know that it will be done in the morning. Again, sigh!
