[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad to have purchased this dishwasher. It is so quiet, it is hard to tell it on, and it does an amazing job of cleaning the dirtiest. The food screen capture is easy to remove and clean. Just lots of good thought went into making it a top buy appliance. I see why CR has it listed as the top-rated.

Pros: Cleans very very well and very quite
Cons:
1. Still cannot fathom how to start run cycle without door beeping (indicating something is not right) when closing the door after choosing the settings. Usually takes me 3-5 times resetting the settings and door closings to get it to no longer beep and start the wash cycle. Based on my experience, no one outside me and my spouse (e.g. babysitter, grandparents, renters, others) would know how to run it. If you choose to buy this model because of Consumer Reports high/top rating (like we did), make sure you write the Bosch helpline, store & rep phone numbers on the front of the unit using a big sharpie.
2. No/none/nada indicator lights on the the exterior and because it's so quite you can't tell if the unit is started or finished. ugh.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solid performance for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought over a weekend when our old Bosch petered out after 12 years. This version has an additional silverware/utensil drawer, which we now love, plus baskets that we removed to make more room for dishes and bowls. Cleans well and is quiet, love the floor light indicator that lets you know when running, it is basically that quiet.
