So Far, So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a more expensive, 14 year old, 500 series Bosch. I had concerns that, because my old one was complete stainless inside, and the new one has a plastic bottom. But it works just as well.
I read a lot of reviews where people complained that they don't like beeps, the racks, or they don't think it dries well. The complaints about the racks don't apply to me...the bottom is set up for big plates, salad plates and saucers, and that's what I use them for. Others want to put in pots and pans, but I don't put mine in the dishwasher.
As for complaints about drying...Bosch doesn't use a heating element like many others. They dry by getting everything in the washer very hot. This doesn't work as well on plastics, because they lose their heat fast, but it works on everything else.
I also had not problem turning off the beeps...just followed the instructions. Maybe Bosch made them more clear after previous complaints.

Very glad I didn't let the whiny reviews steer me away from this fine product.

Great at cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to purchase a new dishwasher because our old one quit working mid cycle. Due to Covid, choices for new dishwashers weren't plentiful. I was able to find this one and am very pleased. We thought our old dishwasher did a good job until we got this one!

We are so pleased with our new Bosch dishwasher. It is so quiet. At first we thought it wasn't working and had to go right next to it to hear it. We are very pleased with our purchase and would recommend it.

Efficient and Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product replaced a dishwasher that was several years old. The Bosch Ascenta saves water and cleans efficiently. The best part is how quiet it works while washing. We love this new addition to our kitchen!

Cleans well but no room for big pots & pans.

We bought this since our old dishwasher word out. Bosch is highly rated and it does clean dishes/cups/silverware well. It just doesn't have enough space for pots and pans at the same time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good product with a couple of minor flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall seems to be a very well built machine. Unfortunately, there are some basic engineering flaws - none of which are fatal but could have been avouded with a little work.
1) The cutlery baskets are fiddly to attach and use. They have flip down seperators that are seemingly too small for convenient use. The solution is to flip them up and that's the equivalent of dumping the silverware in a bucket in the lower shelf. On top of this, the baskets are "secured" by tiny tabs which must be precision fitted in order to stay in place.

2) The top rack particularly is so "contoured" that many items - specifically glassware - don't fit efficiently. Consequently, one winds up doing more small loads due to inability to get more stuff in, and many items stand up straight meaning they have water in their concave bottoms!
