Love this dishwasher

I had this dishwasher for 5 years in a previous house, and I can't wait to buy another Bosch at our new place. This appliance fits a large number of items, runs perfectly quiet and cleans and dries very well. It's been reliable, we had no issues with it, and I hope the current generation Bosch dishwashers still maintain this level of quality and performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the dishwasher when we moved in last year. We have had multiple issues with it. The hose on the bottom broke and it took us forever to get someone to help us fix it. The dishwasher itself is great for glassware and crystal leaving it clean and shinning but other items like knifes and plates are not always as clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Dishwasher But with Some Quirks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good and reliable for the most part as one would expect operating a dishwasher. However, there are 3 cons for me. Frist, It did not come included with the silverware holding basket so I had to buy that separately. Second, there are zero indicator lights of washing status outside of the appliance so I have no idea when it's done or not. It has a beep indicator but it's useless when I am not in earshot. Third, I find that the design of the vertical bars and how they are spaced out are not optimal compared to other brands that I have used. It's a subtle design flaw but impactful as I find I can not put dishes and cups in a way that maximizes the space available, i.e. a bit far apart.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After just over 2 years the dishwasher broke

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very disappointing had heard good things about Bosch. Dishwasher will not drain or begin a cycle. Soft reboot and multiple hard boots where circuit breaker was turned off for 24 hours did not resolve bin obstruction in the hose or filter. Dishwasher has been week taken care of.

Not Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is now five years old. The design flaws are significant. We can never tell when it is on or off. The soap dispenser does not open if there is a sponge in the front of the upper rack. 50% of the time the dishwasher does not turn on. The machine is only 5 years old and needs to be junked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy that the racks are adjustable to accommodate different dishes. I wish I bought the model with a time display. The volume isn't loud enough for the alarm that tells you the dishes are done. My dishes come out clean and dry!
