No noise!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the no noise, very quiet dishwasher. I do feel like it does not hold as many dishes as the old dishwasher. Hard to load pots and large dishes. Like the cleaning options.

Fits perfectly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago, and I am very happy with it. As the prior reviews indicate, it is very quiet. I almost don't know it is running. It beeps when finished until it is turned off. When I add the rinse aid, the dishes are clean and spot free. I would recommend this.

Very good dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third Bosch dishwasher we have owned. The others have been in previous house where we have lived and all were excellent dishwashers.
This dishwasher was purchased about 3 weeks ago and has performed in an excellent manner during that time. However, it has two drawbacks that keep me from rating it an overall excellent.. The first drawback is the lack of a visual or audible signal to indicate the the wash and dry cycle is complete. The second though minor is the lack of a display showing the time of the cycle.
I am not certain I would have bought this particular model had I known the above. However, there was no floor model to view so I just went by the description.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Arrived with a leaking rinse aid dispenser :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We chose the 24" Bosch Ascenta because it was recommended as a 'best buy' from Consumer Reports. We had high hopes for it and, overall, it seems like a decent product. We are very happy with the operating noise level and cleanliness/dryness of our dishes after a wash cycle. I would like to give the Ascenta 4 stars... However, I have to deduct a star because our washer arrived from the factory with a leaking rinse aid dispenser. The liquid came pouring out the back of the dispenser after only ~1-2 tablespoons of liquid were carefully added to the dispenser spout. After searching about the issue online, it seems the faulty dispenser is not a rare occurrence. That is disappointing given the reputation and average price point of Bosch. We are in the process of fixing the issue, but I wanted to add my voice to what appears to be a small choir of people online saying their Bosch dishwasher has a faulty rinse aid dispenser.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have Owned for about 6 Months

Bought about 6 Months ago - brand new in brand new home. Doesn't clean dishes well, always chunks/grit dried on dishes.. no residue or hard water problems. I clean the bottom well/basket out regularly (which is also a pain) but water always is sitting in the bottom of the well, never drains all the way. It was highly recommended, but no matter the way we load it - also a pain, whoever designed this, whoa.. or what setting the dishes are always spattered with junk when they come out. rarely totally clean. ps, does not dry at all, have to open when beeping to air dry (not a big deal, never thought of that). but it is quiet. VS - we have a 80's dishwasher at my work another brand, no baskets or vents to clean, one simple dial, quiet and that thing cleans every time - not industrial either, just a little good ol' machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stealth Quiet & Extraordinarily Clean!

Our last dishwasher (NOT a Bosch) would leave dirt on everything in the top rack, despite multiple deep cleanses. This Bosch, however -- is amazing. Every dish sparkles when they come out, regardless of how filthy they were when we loaded them in. Also, we had to raise the volume on our TV whenever our old dishwasher ran, because it was so loud. This Bosch? I can barely hear it, even when standing right next to it! Sometimes I have to put my hand on it to make sure it's actually working! Talk about a wonderful appliance! I always heard great things about Bosch dishwashers (my boss told me it would change my life) -- and it certainly delivered. I now recommend Bosch to everyone I know!s

Just what I was looking for!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our kitchen appliances and I did lot of research on each one. We chose a Bosch dishwasher. Bosch has a great reputation and great ratings across the internet. I have really put this washer to the test. The instructions tell me to scrape off the loose food and load up. I've placed dried potato soup, oatmeal, dried pancake mix, etc. in this dishwasher. And since there are just the two of us, I don't wash dishes daily, so food was dried onto plates, bowls, cutlery, utensils, everything, and everything came out sparkling clean. I've had to relearn loading, but I think my Bosch is more flexible and holds more than my old (not Bosch) machine. I love this dishwasher; our son and daughter-in-law are so impressed, they're replacing their dishwasher with a Bosch.
