Dishes are clean for the most part, but it smells

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher does a good job gettting the dishes clean and is relatively quiet. One complaint, and the reason it did not get 5 stars from us is that it smells when taking out the clean dishes. It has done it since day one, so it is not a matter of build up that has not been cleaned out.

A must buy if you need a dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ascenta Bosch is truly all anyone would need in a dishwasher. It cleans perfectly and is super quiet. I don't even know it's on half the time. There is no need to spend more on dishwasher than this one. It's the best of everything! I mean it!

Exceeded Expectations

If there is any sound at all, the loudest is similar to gentle rain. The capacity is much larger than our old dishwasher and our dishes are much cleaner. We highly recommend it. It exceeds our expectations.

Very pleased so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered this unit to replace an expensive Whirlpool unit that was just not meeting expectations. The different style racks and the concern over drying were a little concerning, but now that we've had the dishwasher for about a month we are VERY pleased with it! Consumer reports ranks this as it's highest dishwasher for good reason. If you read any negative reports of the unit not drying correctly, READ and FOLLOW the instructions!!! You must use rinse aid (jet dry type products) and you must wait a little bit after the cycle is complete (30 minutes max) to allow plastic items to dry. We follow these procedures and have had excellent results. Will be buying Bosch products from now on. If anything changes, I will update the review.

Very quiet and a super cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We considered this machine (frankly) because it was rated tops in a "Consumer Reports" buying guide. Our only issue is the fact that it's a bit hard to see the controls and indicator lights with the door closed.

I hate this dishwasher!

I bought this based on Consumer Reports reviews, but they do not tell you that this “most quiet” dishwasher beeps like crazy when done and there is NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF, per Bosch. So, don’t think about washing dishes after dinner and sleeping anytime soon. There is also no on light indicator, so you can’t tell when it is running, as it IS quiet when running.

Excellent and quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Racks are laid out in a useful and efficient manner. Cleans the dishes well. Quiet. Heat dry works - almost no water left on dishes. Wish it didn't automatically beep when done with the cycle (the only way to stop the beeping is to open the dishwasher quickly and hit the off button, which lets out a lot of the steam), so hoping the user manual shows how to turn off that alert option.
