Washes OK but can't tell if it's on or off

Cons:
Nothing visable on the outside to tell you if the unit is on or off.
Control settings are not intuitive.
Needs to be restarted each time you add anything after it's started.
Both silverware baskets cannot be at the front at the same time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher was packaged securely but also they did a good job of considering the environment and limiting the packaging. The instructions provided all the information needed to install the dishwasher. The installation package included all the various options to be able to connect to my setup. The installation involved a number of steps and by following them carefully the final result was great. There were no issues in the process and the dishwasher is now fully installed and functioning well. It is a much quieter machine than our previous device.

Pleasantly Surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a Samsung-filled home since I bought my first house. Bought a Samsung oven. Really happy with it. Bought a Samsung Washing Machine and also really happy with it. But when it came time to replace the Dishwasher, Samsung's reviews weren't so hot. So the research began. I was shocked to see how often Bosch came up as the top Dishwasher. My house came with an old Bosch and of course I was never able to get it to work properly. That's not too criticize the appliance, as who knows what the previous owner put it through. But nothing ever came out clean. After continuing my research, I decided to give Bosch a try and ordered a new one. While I was waiting for the new one, I watched a bunch of repair videos for the old one and figured I would give it some tender loving care to see if I could get it working since I had nothing to lose. A little disassembly and some cleaning of heavy built up grime and the think worked! But even though it worked, I didn't cancel my order for a new one. I really wanted the new one and worked hard for it. And since it arrived, I've put it though it's paces and have been pleasantly surprised. So now this diehard Samsung fan is having trouble deciding on the brand of his next appliance. Consider me impressed Bosch!

The quietest dishwasher we've ever had

Preferred previous Bosch dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall quality of this dishwasher is not the quality of the Bosh dishwasher it replaced. It's not poor quality, but there are certainly differences. It is much noisier and just doesn't feel as solid. Besides the noise, it beeps for a LONG time after a wash is complete. If you set it for a delayed wash then go to bed, expect to be woken up by several cycles of loud beeps after the wash is complete. There (supposedly) is way to program the unit to mute the beeps, but good luck with that procedure. Bottom line? We wish we could get our old Bosch dishwasher back.

Great product, please improve manual

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good price for a high quality appliance. Really impressed with how well it works -- even dishware with dried, caked on food come out spotless even on the "express wash" setting.
This was my first time installing a dishwasher myself -- the installation manual needs work for first time DIY'ers like me. One thing that wasnt in the manual (that should be) was the option to secure the appliance without using the included brackets. There is a screw hole on each inside panel of the washer that were capped. I removed the caps and screwed in through those to the cabinet studs and worked like a charm
