Good machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over a year ago and have had good service out of it, except once in a while the "container" in which the soap is poured and you close by hand doesn't open during the wash cycle. Then you have to open the soap container and re-close it and do a re-wash. Otherwise it's okay.

It's Quiet and Cleans Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just bought a Bosch Ascenta after our 15 year old dishwasher gave up the ghost. We love how quiet and how well it cleans the dishes. We have yet to leave a egg caked spatula in the dishwasher for the next load because it wasn't clean. Very happy with Bosch dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is excellent value for the price paid. We didn't realize on install that some of the wheels were missing on the bottom pullout. After using it for a few months and realizing that was the issue with movement, we made one quick call to Bosch sent replacements so we are happy with their support as well.

Disappointed

The Instruction Manual is very confusing. Talks about several models all mixed together. Front page shows several machines, I presume they are dishwashers- no names or Identifying features to know which is which. To add to the confusion they add some other language in the same manual.
I have never had a dishwasher that I had to "Clean". This one gets to smelling so bad, I wonder how it can possibly clean the dishes?
PLEASE write a manual for each model- that is understandable. I am being told it does not wash right when dishes are rinsed before loading.WHY not? seems like it should do an even better job!
Loading the Dishwasher on page 4 says "Do not block vent with tall baking sheets; load these on the left side." I see something in the left wall ,but nothing on the right side, so I am not sure what they are talking about??!!
There are two people here in our home, so I do not want to run a load for 2 plates, 2 glasses and 2 forks and maybe a couple of serving/cooking pots.
I have cleaned the filter system a few times-what a disgusting job.....

NOT WORTH THE MONEY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher for approx. 3 years. It is really quiet, other than that compliment I have nothing good to say about this product. This was the 3rd brand of dishwasher I have placed in my house. The first replacement was becuase I changed from black to stainless steel. The main reason I purchased the Bosch was becuase I was was looking for a higher quality dishwasher than my previous one. My old one was starting to rust. Just after the warranty service was up the soap dispenser quit opening automatically. We have a water softener in our house and also use a rinse aid, clean the filter regularly,rinse our dishes of thoroughly, but we still have problems with the dishes coming out clean. The have black specs on them and do not come out clean!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
