Quiet and Efficient

We very much luv our new Bosch Dishwasher. Researched both far and wide (Consumers Report, Friends and Family) what to buy and chose this dishwasher. We are not DISAPPOINTED! Quiet, efficent (especially the quick wash (40 Minutes)) and easy to install. Again, word of warning, comes with plug in connection versus hard wire. Either order the hard wire kit, or simply install duplex outlet within dishwasher cabinet cutout!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had very high expectations for this DW after seeing how highly it was rated by Consumer Reports. But it did not live up to them. It cleans the dishes pretty well but the interior is substantially smaller than previous DWs I have had. Plus, the way the racks/tines are designed makes it challenging to load anything besides standard plates and cups. Consequently, we end up running this thing much more frequently than we did our last DW.

Consumer Reports is correct...It is #1...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this dishwasher for only two months and am very satisfied with it...Prior to purchasing it, I checked with my Consumer Reports Buying Guide 2020 which had model SHX3AR75UC rated #1(coincidently, CR March 2020 issue did another review on dishwashers with model SHE3AR72UC rated #1 - same model but with controls outside vs inside on top of door)...I especially like the front side viewable controls as it is easy to see when the cleaning cycle is completed...It very quiet and the washed dishes are spotless...SOME HINTS: In my opinion, the utensil basket is thin and flimsy...It is difficult to load especially with my old broad based handles on my large spoons and forks. I had to modify the utensil tray on the previous washer...so I am using that one...SO...KEEP THE UTENSIL HOLDER from your old washer as it will probably fit as mine did! FOR DISHES AND INTERIOR of unit to be completely dry... 1) Change default mode to 'Sanitize', 2) Clean dishes prior to placing in washer as it will save 30 min by not having an extra flush with clean water cycle, 3) Select 'half load' as it saves time and cleans well on a 90% load, 4) As soon as cycle is complete...time display is '0000'...Open door, pull out shelves, and let 'air dry' for 1 hour (heat from steel interior evaporates the excess water.) Time displayed for the full 'half load' cycle is 2:25hr but by doing the above, the actual washing time is only 2:00 hr. Unit is very quiet and sleek looking. Instructions are easy to change options as needed. Along with CR, I would recommend my model (SHE3AR72UC)...
