Rack design

Has almost no provison for soup or cereal bowls but over provison for plates. Also, why no rinse cycle - such programs should be standard.

quiet, just washed once, was installed yesterday

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a plumber install and he was unsure of the tubing on the side that is open ended. Apparently it is a condensate line. It took too much extra time to install because of this feature that is not explained in the manual or instructions. We had to call Bosch to confirm.

We live in a humid climate and nothing got dry. Ever. There is no heating element in this dishwasher (like in Europe where electricity is expensive). We followed all of the instructions: run water until hot, push top rack back to engage water, use rinse aid, and after it was done we dried all of our dishes by hand. Sent it back with full refund and bought a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not even 2 years old. Control board goes bad. We don’t even use it more than 2-3 times a week.

I Hate The Rack Design!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're considering a purchase of this dishwasher, I would suggest that you take a hard look at the rack design inside. Maybe even take one or two of your most-used dishes/plates with you to see how you like the rack. Some of the racks are adjustable, but still doesn't fit my dishes very well. I use a lot of Corian dishes, so they are fairly skinny. If you have thicker plates--forget it. Cereaal bowls are also a big problem. Lots of waste space per load. My older Fridigaire works way better. Also, the inside front of the door always has a lot of moisture on it when the cycle is done and I open the door (and that is with the drying cycle on). The only positive thing I can say is that it is quiet.
