Good Solid Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher to replace an old KitchenAid dishwasher that was more than 10 years old.
Pros:
I really like that this dishwasher is quieter, doesn't have an exposed heating element and allows me to clean plastic dishes on the bottom rack, does an excellent job at washing dishes in both racks, and does a good (not great) job at drying the dishes at the end of the cycle. I also appreciate the display on the front of the unit that counts down the remaining time in the cycle.
Pros:

Cons:
This dishwasher does have moments where it is quite loud near the beginninng of a cycle. They are not long, but they do happen. The dishwasher also takes about 30 minutes longer for a cycle compared to my old dishwasher, which is not really an issue unless I need to run multiple cycles in a day (holidays). I wish that there was a better "done" indication than leaving the entire unit powered on with 0:00 on the display. I'd like some sort of mechanical indication that the dishes inside are clean that doesn't draw power.

Quiet and effecient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new dishwasher. We wanted this specific model based on reviews. The dealer did not have any in stock and had to order, but it was worth the wait. The Boasch Ascenta is much quieter than our old dishwasher and washes faster. Its rackes are also layed out so that plates, saucers, and bowls all fit very well--and it can hold plenty of each. We had to run our old dishwasher more often because everything wouldn't fit. It had slots and racks that, to this day, we still can't figure out what they were designed to hold (note: nothing we own!).

Love my Bosch

very good dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher cleans well, even baked on food. The door is a little stiff and hard to open. My daughter says she feels like it is a wrestling match! It does not hold as much as my last dishwasher, but over all a good dishwasher.

Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Bosch Dsihwasher a couple months now and it works great. My dishes are always clean and free of residue. I love the fingerprint resistant finish - I don't have to be constantly wiping it down. It was fairly eay to install. Just wanted to note that the description was a bit unclear whether or not this unit could be hardwired - It cannot be. You have to buy a separate $20 cord/outlet to be installed under your sink. It was easy enough to install though.

Ascenta dishwasher

My dishes sparkle. The glasses are spotless. The silverware shines. I am floored each time I take my dishes out of the dishwasher. Your engineers are to be commended!!
