Cleans well and dries even better

Chose this dishwasher both for the CR Ratings that it would have a long lifespan (my last one conked out after 6 years), and because of it's superior job in cleaning. Will hope for the long lifespan, but the cleaning is excellent and an improvement in drying over my previous dishwasher. I usually use just a normal or auto wash cycle and the plasticware is significantly dryer than my previous machine. My only complaint is that the smaller divisions between the tines make it harder to load things other than plates. I often use salad or soup bowls, and they don't fit as well in the sections that have the closer spaced tines. However, there is still a good capacity, and I figured that the longer-life was a trade-off I was willing to make.

OK, not great

Bought this based on rep of Bosch and Consumer Reports/other reviews of this unit. PROS: Does good (not great) job at cleaning, is very quiet, and good value for price. CONS: The very WORST racks...tines are angled too much and too narrow (close to each other), and only one portion is manuevable. Didn't check racks close enough prior to buying....would NOT have purchased if I did. Whoever designed the racks on this model needs to find a new job.

Very quiet but 75% of the time there are still dirty dishes despite trying different washes and dish stacking combos.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Dishwasher I've Ever Had in My Adult Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't say enough good things about this dishwasher. Consumer Reports wasn't kidding when they said this was the #1 dishwasher overall. My sister has had this model in the past three houses she's lived in and swears by them. I can see why. Whisper quiet. I have to feel the front of the door to make sure it's on. Love it. I would highly, highly recommend this model. You just can't beat it for the price.
