Does the job

Dishwasher does the job. For a low end Bosch, I am happy. Previous dishwasher broke and we are moving in less than 6 months so was not going to spend the bank.

All I know and care about is that it works great and after using for 2 months, last night my wife actually said to me, "I love my new dishwasher!" ... Nuff said!

Very disappointed

After hearing so much about how great Bosch dishwasher are, I am extremely disappointed. It is noisy, doesn't get the dishes clean unless I run it on heavy, and does not dry the dishes on the top rack at all! And most disappointing is the racks. It holds half the dishes etc as my old GE. I WISH I'D JUST HAD THE GE REPAIRED. I think I can honestly say I HATE this dishwasher. My close friend who has had the most expensive Bosch for years is also very unhappy with her new one. Hers is extremely quiet but does not get the dishes clean or dry and she also hates the racks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

so far it is terrible

My bosch is about a month old and it is cleaning terribly. Leaving coffee streaks, dirt on plates and utensiles. A technician is coming to look at the machine in 4 days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was disappointed with our new dishwasher. It was a replacement for an earlier Bosch washer which we had liked very well. That one was probably about 10 years old. The main disappointment with this new one is the design of the "cup holder" shelves. These seem to have been designed just to make trouble! They aren't adequate to hold any cups or glasses, they don't fold up and away like the old holders - these can only be folded down, which takes up space on the rack, and adds nothing useful. I'm considering taking some pliers and levering them off the rack - I would be much happier without them! Also, I think the prongs on the lower rack are not as usefully arranged as the old washer. There are no open spaces for arranging larger items - all those prongs everywhere really limit the arrangements which can be made. Overall, I don't think that we feel the new washer is an upgrade. If the control panel on the old one hadn't broken down, I'd have been much happier keeping it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed it myself, it was very easy to do. I've installed 3 dishwashers in the past and this was by far the easiest and fastest to install, everything is included- no going out to get extra stuff.

Love Bosch

No upper rack on this one. I like that for knives.
Silverware holder fits really loose in area, unlike my previous one. Don't like that.
When we add something to started wash, just shutting foot doesn't get it going again. Have to push button too. Why?
