not near as good as our old unit

this machine does not dry as goodas our previous it does not hold as much as the old machine the same kitchen tools now hit the spray bars and they did not on the previous dishwasher it is quieter for sure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it ok. It does a great job of drying without a heater!! I do not care for the utinsel holder as it does not hook securely. It is a bit noiser that my Kenmore Elite that I had previously. I miss having a rinse cycle and a quick wash. All cycles on the Bosch are over 2 hours.

Spotless dishes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very pleased with our new Bosch Ascenta dishwasher! No more washing the dishes by hand before putting in the dishwasher! All we do is scrape off excess food and wash. It is also so quiet you have to look at the lights to see if it's on. Only complaint is that the silverware baskets don't fit that well. I highly recommend this dishwasher.

This new washer was disappointing - the top rack was much less useful than on the old dishwasher (an older Bosch). The worst was the cupholders - instead of folding up and out of the way when not needed, they can only fold down. That takes up space on the rack - the holders are never useful - they don't have enough room to hold any reasonable size of cups or short glasses. When down they use up some space in the rack. I would like to remove them entirely!

Good for the price

For a low end dishwasher, this one is good. It's quiet and washes the dishes well. Stacking capacity satisfactory so I have to do more frequent loads. If I was not moving within the next 6 months, I would have bought a higher end. This one will work fine for the next owner.

Great Replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace a 10+ year old Bosch where the water inlet valve had failed. Washes great, my wife and I debate if it is as quiet as the previous version but still very quiet none the less. The new version has a split silverware tray that I am also debating if this is an improvement or not.
