barely qualifies as a bosch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mom and others recommended gettig a bosch. Our previous whirlpool had lasted about 30 years, thanks to being able towork on it. We got this "low end" model since it was affordable. However, the first thing we noticed is that the door is poorly supported when opened, and it's difficult to pull out the bottom tray; it always catches or something. Then we noticed it doesn't hold very much, so you have to do more loads. It doesn't wash as well unless you soak the dishes first. It doesn't dry as well as the whirlpool did; you must prop open the door after the cycle; if you don't, the dishes will remain wet. One good thing: it is very quiet when operating. We now wish we had coughed up the extra cash for the next model up, maybe it wouldn't have been such a disappointment. I can't say I recommend this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced a 20 Year old Dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was advised be a friend & appliance repair man that Bosch was a good brand. On line Consumer Reports rated this model first. Watched the video, and ordered it sight-unseen. Installed & working within a week! QUIET! Still adapting to the newness, but it is adjustable & does a very good job cleaning & drying the dishes. So far, vey good.

Very Good Dishwasher

Although I am still rinsing before putting in cause it takes us several days to fill up the dishwasher. Dishwasher is also nice n quiet. One negative is the plastic flatware holders remain wet when done.

Went with Bosch this time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a Bosch this time as I did a lot of dishwasher researching and Bosch kept coming up with too-rated reviews. The dishwasher is super quiet and I do love having the option of a quick wash cycle which is approximately 40 minutes. Another option I like is that there is a Power On/Off button as well. It is not overly large inside, but plenty of room though for utensils/silverware. Dishes come out sparkling clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!
