So quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just completed a kitchen remodel in a quirky old farmhouse. the dishwasher presents in a nice understated way, install was a breeze, it cleans flawlessly, and the first few times I would need to check to see if it was running, it is so quiet!

Reliably clean dishes every time

After wasting many years on other brands that never fully cleaned my dishes and required pre-washing many things, I finally took my sister's advice and purchased my first Bosch dishwasher. I have been very happy with the purchase. It cleans and dries everything thoroughly and reliably.

Somewhat disappointing!

I purchased this dishwasher to replace a 20 year old Kenmore Elite. This Bosch had been recommended in Consumers Report several years ago. It performs basic dishwashing functions well and is relatively quiet. Although smaller inside than my Kenmore, I like the layout and ease of loading. There are two major negatives for me (1) the drying problem. Before I changed the default factory setting from off to intense dry, water not only dripped off the dishes, but ran down the sides and door of the dishwasher. I also
have to use the sanitize function to get a complete dry. (2)
the seemingly cheap plastic material. I realize that the Ascenta is not the top of the Bosch line, but I did expect a
little better quality. The drying issue really needs to be better addressed by Bosch. That problem alone would lead me to rate it 3.5 and suggest customers shop around a bit.

Solid and Quiet

We are so glad it worked out that way as the build quality of the Bosch is notably better than the other unit even though the Bosch was a lower cost. It cleans thoroughly and runs quietly. Very pleased with this purchase.
