The dishwasher gives the dishes a very good cleaning. Has a nice capicity, can put in odd ball sizes of dishes, will hold a great of amount of dinner plates, is easy to fill. Not fond of the "screen" in the silverware holder, some pieces have thicker handles and don't always go in. I have an issue with getting the machine to actually start. But it may be something I am not figuring out. I need to go back to where I bought and ask them to show me again. Otherwise, I am very happy with the washer. Can't wait for canning season next year to sanitize my jars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased product based on independant reviews I had checked before buying. I did my own installation which was a snap. Only a couple of basic tools needed to complete the job. Dishwasher does an adequate job in washing dishes but wish they came out drier. In addition, I personally find the operational controls a bit confusing. Like ore recent model with model with more simpler controls.

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer works great, is pretty quiet, and hasn't had any problems. I wish I had been able to see one in person and compared it to other Bosch models before I purchased it. Upgrading might have corrected the few issues I have with it. First issue is the cutlery baskets. I whish they could be more firmly attached to the rack. The second is that there is not much rack space "dedicated" to bowls. OTher than that, I really love it.

My favorite dishwasher (and I've had a few)

Though I have admittedly lived in the same house for several decades, being on my fourth dishwasher during that time is unddoubtedly excessive. My last dishwasher (a GE) never got my dishes as clean as it seemed it should - especially things on the top shelf. When I found that I was pretty much having to hand wash most of the items from the top shelf even after running a dishwashing cycle, I decided to consult Consumer Reports and buy a dishwasher based on their recommendations. I was surprised to find Bosch dishwashers at the top of their lists in everything from cleaning ability, quiet operation, and value! Obviously I got a Bosch to replace my GE model. I have been really impressed with it. It feels kind of goofy to be so excited about such a mundane appliance, but I am genuinely thrilled every morning when I open my dishwasher and remove an entire load of sparkling clean dishes. I have tested how well it cleans baked on foods and been surprised that it works as well on those dishes as on ones that just have the usual amount of food "dirt." And it is really quiet! I am so happy I now have this Bosch dishwasher. I wish I had bought one several dishwashers earlier. Live and learn, eh?
