As a lower-end dishwasher, it works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We couldn't afford to buy the upper-end version of bosch, so we thought we'd give the lower=end one a try; it really was a good price. However, our older, whirlpool dishwasher turns out to be better than this one; it was roomy, you could adjust the upper shelf, and the shelves slid out nicely. In this one, the bottom shelf wants to just fall out and clunk onto the door when you pull it out, so it's awkward. The inside is very compact-feeling; you have to do the dishes more often, cuZ you can't fit much in. No extra cup for "extra detergent, etc.", but two nice silverware recepticles-one with tiny holes for silverware, the other with larger holes for utensils, etc.
I was able to reprogram it to shut off automatically, for those complaining that you have to shut it off manually. The menu of choices is long, there's an express wash and also a "delicate wash"; not sure the difference, no "rinse only" cycle, but there is a "sanitize" cycle. And the delicate cycle actually works fine for regular dishes, IF you soak them first. Otherwise, the other cycles are very long. And it doesn';t dry as well as the old one did; both use only "air dry", but the bosch requires you to prop the door open for them to really dry. So, in all, it doesn't feel as solid as our old whirlpool, but so far, so good as far as the electronics still working and the cycles working, with a blip or two from time to time. I suppose if one wanted to try out a bosch without paying too much, this one will work.

Quiet and Sparkling Clean Dishes

I love my Bosch dishwasher!

I have bought many dishwashers in the past, but this one by far is the quietest, and does the best job of cleaning that I've ever had before. It was a wonderful buy and I would recommend it highly to anybody very easy to use and very efficient.
