Louder than my previous Bosch but does a good job

I bought this a month ago and have been pleased. It's louder than my previous Bosch and I honestly wish I'd purchased one with a lower noise rating. But it does a good job cleaning dishes.

I have owned BOSCH diswashers for the last 17 years. I am never disappointed. I enjoy the dependability, value and performance of all the models I have had over the years.

I bought this dishwasher after reading many reviews and I think it is going to keep up with this reputation. It 50db and not very loud at all. Loving it so far

Cleans Fast-Great Features

This is the 2nd Bosch dishwasher I've had, will never choose another brand. The 30 minute Express cycle saves time, energy and cleans perfectly!

QUIET!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just installed this machine, our second Bosch, and not only was it easy to install, but is so simple to use. The features are what I would expect from Bosch and we literally had to put our ears to the door to make sure it was running.

Cleans well but smells terrible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher does a great job cleaning dishes and is very quiet, but it smells like garbage whenever you open the door! I have cleaned the filter and run a cycle with a cup of vinegar, as instructed by Bosch -- it still smells bad. Also, the rinse aid dispenser came with a faulty seal, so I had to have that repaired under warranty. So, I have mixed feelings about this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a Dishwasher Should Be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a lifetime of using dishwashers that clean as well as any antique I was puzzled by my new Bosch. I had to listen for a moment to tell that it was actually on; it was that quiet. Normally, my dishwashers announced their presence like a steam locomotive. It's delightful to have silence while the dishes are being washed. On opening the washed dishes I was surprised to find them actually clean. Wonderfully clean.
I only found two minor problems for me. First, was the controls were not intuitive to use. But, that was remedied by pulling open the instruction booklet and reading the instructions which were well laid out and clearly written.
The other is more of a problem for someone like me. I'm disabled and lack the hand strength and coordination I used to have. The dishwasher door is simply closed by friction. That makes it tough for someone like myself to open it: I have to lock my wheelchair to force it open. My old dishwashers had a locking mechanism secure the dishwasher.
Regardless, I find this such better machine that I would not hesitate to recommend this dishwasher!
