Love the Quiet!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 2nd BOSCH dishwasher we have purchased. The previous one was for our townhome and then we moved. New home that we moved into had the noisiest dishwasher we have ever heard. Replaced with another BOSCH like the one we had previously purchased. What does that tell you? Cleans very well and so quiet you almost have to look at the panel to see if it is on. Love it!

This is a great dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had other dishwasher brands that I was satisfied with but chose to purchase this one due to high consumer publication ratings. I am SO happy I didn't go with the prior brands. This uses less water and is MUCH quieter, yet gets my dishes cleaner. I waited to post this review until I had tried several of the cycle options and can say I'm totally satisfied in every way.

Great dishwasher for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with my recently purchased Bosch Asenta 50-decibel built-in dishwasher. I previously owned a Kenmore unit and began searching for a new dishwasher. After consulting Consumer reports and other reviews, I was surprised at the features by the Bosch unit. Although the Kenmore dishwasher was quiet, I found the Bosch Ascenta even quieter. The energy ratings and various wash cycles finally convinced me that this was a wise choice. The Bosch Ascenta is reasonably priced with features that compete with more expensive models.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite different from our old unit which had a macerator to chew up food bits and heating element to aid drying. This unit has neither of those but seems to do well at both cleaning and drying nonetheless. It just takes much much lot longer to finish the cycle and dry. Disappointed that an angle fitting and plugin cord needed for installation was not supplied, but I was able to transfer what I needed from the old washer. A learning curve on how to load - not bad, just different. It is much quieter for sure. Very light weight.
There is nothing really wrong with this unit, I just don't give five stars to anything unless it is top of its class and I am sure there are other dishwashers out there better than this, but we were not willing to spend more. This model was on back order for four weeks; we were told it was because the builders are buying lots of them for new homes. Good that builders like them.

Above Average - Excellent Soundproofing / Cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit purchased a month ago, having replaced an older dishwasher that had degraded after 15 years. This review represents feedback after one month of use.
Pros: [1] Excellent soundproofing. The sound of the dishwasher is drastically reduced compared to the older unit being replaced. The unit is very quiet and can barely be heard operating. [2] Very good cleaning: The dishes essentially come out spotless with standard detergent powder / pods and liquid rinse agent. (Note that prior to placement of dishes in the unit, care is taken not to leave hardened food residue / large food particles on plates when placing them in the dishwasher.) [3] Decent wash cycle selections, for instance there is a half load cycle. The automatic (default) wash cycle is typically used and is fine.
Cons: [1] If the bottom dish tray is not pulled out when the door is exactly parallel to the floor, then the tray may actually roll off its tracks when being pulled out, requiring it be manually placed back on. Annoying.
Note that the soundproofing layer takes space away from the inside of the dishwasher, but cannot be viewed as a negative since this is the tradeoff made to achieve quieter operation.

Great basic dishawasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my old dishwasher... While this new dishwasher was expensive for me, it is well worth the investment! It is so quiet and very efficient! Also, I love the stainless steel on it... sleek and classy.

Very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is so quiet that sometimes I don't know that it is on. It has plenty of space and cleans things very well. It also has an easy to remove and easy to clean filter. As with any dishwasher you have to pre-wash the dishes to remove large items. It also has an adjustable shelf to allow for larger items. That's a huge benefit.
