Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love our dishwasher. Remember to use the rinse-aid religiously and you will be very, very happy with this model. It is very quiet. It produces the cleanest dishes of any dishwasher I have ever owned. The condensation-style (European style) drying it uses might take a bit of getting used to if you have typically had the heated-coil system more common in American-style dishwashers, but once you understand it, you'll probably prefer the condensation-style: no melted plastic, superior energy efficiency, nothing overly hot to the touch when you take the dish out, and, we think, better cleaned dishes.

Very nice features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced an ageing Maytag unit with this product. Couldn't be happier. I really like the no-heat feature. Saves on energy and the dishes come out very clean and dry. This dishwasher is much quieter then our previous unit. Sometimes I can't even tell its running. :)

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moved into a condo with this dishwasher. Know the previous owner of condo. They bought this dishwasher based on price/budget. Features are OK. Cleans dishes OK. Interior is stainless but constantly has a white “haze.” Upper rack is very “stiff” when pulling in and out to fill. Also squeaks/squeals. Lower rack seems to come off track easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Price, Fairly good results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did a complete kitchen gut and remodel with all new appliances, this Bosch dishwasher being one due to its rating in Consumer Reports. The unit is quieter than the older Whirlpool model it replaced and uses less water. However, it does not clean sticky things like peanut butter quite as well as the old one. Run cycles are quite lengthy at 2+ hours. Racks are a little different from what we were used to so loading it has had a few challenges, but we are getting used to it. So far we are satisfied with the results. There is one drawback you may want to consider if looking at this particular model. It has a filter which requires cleaning periodically of larger food items that were left on dishes. If it is not cleaned the unit starts to smell. If we had to do over again we would choose a model that did not have require a filter (ie. had its own grinder or emptied into garbage disposal.)

So quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this dishwasher installed about 2 weeks ago. The dishwasher is not a standard size. It is about 2-3 inches narrower than other dishwashers. The size difference can be hidden, but it also makes the dishwasher itself a little smaller. Works great and is really quiet.
