Dishwasher

I would give the dishwasher a 4 1/2 rating due to the lack of space to put bowls in the dishwasher. Bowls of any type do not fit in the washer well Other than that, the dishes always come out clean. I am glad that i purchased a Bosch when my old dishwasher broke.

Great cleaning, super quiet, & a couple of quirks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our dishwasher for about a month now, and Overall I really like it. It does a great job cleaning and drying the dishes. It is very quiet, and has a good capacity for our family of 4. There are a Couple of things that I find slightly annoying but in now way are they deal breakers for me recommending this to others.
First, When I unload the washer and close it back up I don’t like that the time starts blinking. I need to hit the on/off switch to shut it off. Second, the track that the lower rack is on should have a better stopper at the end. I find that you need to be very gentle when pulling out the bottom rack or it goes past the stopper and comes off the track. The last thing is how the door closes and the latching mechanism. The door seems to slam shut really hard when it Closes and the latch seems a little hard to open.
Like I said, a great washer with a couple of quirks. I would highly suggest purchasing this for your next washer

Would not purchase again

This dishwasher does not hold a lot of dirty dishes, especially on the top rack; the door feels like it is made of plastic, very lightweight. The cycle takes a long time and does not dry the greatest. I also purchased a new cooktop and a microwave. Very happy with those purchases but the dishwasher was a diasppointment, even though it lloks nice and is much quieter than my old dishwasher.

Overall, it has worked well, instructions for setting operation are complicated. Dishes are wet after final cycle, despite using rinse agent. filling is unclear. Drain opening is directly at a location that items can fall into while loading. unsure how to retrieve. Smell between usage not pleasant.

My new dishwasher cleans very well and dries the dishes using the Auto Wash setting. I am very pleased with the mechanics of the unit. It is nice looking, matching my other appliances. My dislikes are: the door is very heavy, the lower rack does not slide easily and comes off the track whenever pulling it out and the interior is not convenient for loading dishes. Anything of an odd shape or large size does not fit well. I have to hand wash items I easily loaded in my old dishwasher. Overall I am satisfied, however the interior design is annoying. I realize I did not purchase the top of the line, but my old dishwasher was not either.
