The Bosch name and stainless steel interior were the deciding factors at the price point of my budget. I expect that Bosch appliances will be in my future appliance purchases.

Super-quiet and cleans like a champ

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a new house that had a 20-year-old, worn out dishwasher. I opted for this model based on Consumer Reports’ recommendation as a top model.
First, I can’t recommend enough getting a professional to install this correctly. It’s money well spend versus muddling through it yourself.
In terms of the operation of the unit, no complaints so far. The controls are very simple - lack of complexity is a welcome change for kitchen appliances for me. The drying aid reservoir is also easy to use. I’ve never used one before, but I see what a difference it makes.
In terms of space inside, I think it’s more rationally configured than most dishwashers I’ve dealt with. No dishwasher is perfect, but we use thin plates, and space hasn’t been a problem.
One of the best surprises about this unit is how quiet it is. Mine has been on the order of 50 dB, as I’ve measured it, which is like a very quiet conversation level.
All in all, we’re very pleased with our purchase.

Small complaint, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give the Bosch a 5 if only the door would stay open just a few inches to allow the interior to dry between uses. Unfortunately, it tends to smell! The door springs closed and won’t stay open unless it is almost all the open which is a hazard for my shins! Otherwise, it cleans very well and is extremely quiet!

Super quiet, works perfectly

This is so quiet I thought it may not be working. Super easy to use and works well, cleans dishes perfectly.
