Dishwasher -- works perfectly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 11 year old Bosch with this one - the Ascenta - more than a month ago. It has worked perfectly. We have used all the different wash cycles and each one produces a super clean load. Easy to use. Inituitive settings. Such a relief to have a product that works perfectly straight away.

Technology has changed and it took us a few times to get it right but it's working great. Only thing we questioned was whether we would really save when each run consists of 2 hours.

After years of buying less well made brands I am really impressed with the lack of noise and cleaning prowess of this machine. Only thing I don’t like is the fact that the maximum delay is five hours - not a good fit for my work routine. Seems like an easy adjustment, no?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I had to replace my dishwasher, I checked the latest Consumer Reports recommendations, and decided to go with this Bosch Ascenta Dishwasher. It seems a good choice so far. It's quiet, and relatively efficient, and cleans and drys well. If it proves to be as reliable as Bosch's reputation, I'll be more than satisfied with my choice. The controls are clear and easy to read, and there is no annoying signal when the cycle is complete, just a clear readout. There is a version with controls hidden on the top of the door, but I actually prefer the ones on the front and am glad that option is available. The interior is well arranged and easy to load. So far, so good.

Cleans well & is quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like this dishwasher. It does a good job of getting dishes clean and is quiet. The "auto" cycle takes over 2 hours - so it is not fast. I like that there's no heating element for the dry cycle because I always turned off the dry cycle on previous dishwashers - not necessary on this one. My one complaint that is somewhat major to me is trying to load the racks. I've read the manual and viewed Bosch videos on the best way to load top & bottom racks and I'm still not happy with the arrangement of the tines. The bottom rack I can live with, it's the top one that is especially aggravating to us. Trying to figure out the best layout to load salad/cereal bowls is challenging. The layout of the tines doesn't allow me to do 2 rows of bowls (as my previous KitchenAid did) so I fit fewer bowls. Also the tines layout doesn't hold the bowls well & they fall over. That's my primary complaint with this dishwasher. I expected a "learning curve" as with previous dishwashers, but this one still confounds both of us!!
