I bought the Sony - XBR65X900C TV, 2 and a half years ago and it broke down. Called Sony support and because the warranty had expired nothing could be done. Very dissapointed! I usually get Sony Products because of their quality and durability, I expected the TV ti last longer than 2 and a half years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our Sony XBR65X900C television stopped working after three years of use. Now, it shuts off immediately after turning it on. This is unfortunate because we have had many Sony products over the years that we have been very happy with. Apparently, lots of customers have had issues with this model.

I bought this TV a few weeks ago and couldn’t be happier with my choice. I evaluated other TV choices but until it’s in your home and not a crowded showroom it’s difficult to make that leap with confidence. The Sony’s picture is vivid, clear and commands your attention. Great choice at a reasonable price.
