One of the reason why I love this phone is that I no longer have to squirt to see the displays and phone number dials. Since, I.m not in my 60th's and really need a phone that my eyes can see the displays plus to type out texts, or just find out somethings on the internet this Samsung Galaxy Mega deliver excellence on everything this phone has to offer. I will never need to upgrade my cell phone again. It works like a tablet and cell phone in one. Love it!! and my husband love's his Samsung Galaxy Mega phone too.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I received my Mega as a Christmas gift upgrade from a regular cell phone. To date, I have had a difficult time NOT using this phone. I wanted the functions of a cell phone with a large screen size. Since 7+ inch tablets do not offer a phone feature in the USA, the Mega fulfills my needs in almost all aspects. The 720p HD feature is more than enough for my needs. The camera takes excellent pictures, and there does seem to be a stabilizing feature for when I cannot quite hold still. The 6.3 inch screen is perfect for someone like myself beginning to find my eyesight failing even with corrective lenses. being able to re-size images and text/web pages is great, and the sharpness of the text is amazing. I feel the only disappointments are 1) Adobe will not produce a Flash player compatible with Android phones; 2) AT&T's service does not always work under heavy clouds and areas of weak reception.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Lightweight, sharpness of screen, apps available to help extend battery life
Cons: bright sunlight display hard to see at times., battery life not always the best without app help

I love this phone, it is huge and I can actually see now... First of all, I bought it because of the size. you know when you start getting old, The eyes are the first to go LOL LOL and you have the need to REALLY see. I can actually read my text... I DON'T CONDONE TEXTING WHILE DRIVING, BUT IF SOMEONE SENDS ME ONE, I CAN CLICK A BUTTON A COUPLE TIMES AND ENLARGE IT AND STILL FOCUS ON THE ROAD AND SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING...(here's my disclaimer a.k.a. warning: don't try this unless you have a Samsung). I can finally find it in my purse. The comments I get and it gets "wow that's a big huge phone " "that's like a tablet" "is that a phone?" "that's too big for me "...etc. etc.... etc. I feel like "if you can't handle the Samsung, then get out of the kitchen." I hear people bragging about their "Fruit " product Phones and some of their other phones and what all they can do and then I say "bam" look at my phone and then I pull mine out and be like "what".. This phone is great... Now on the downside the camera could be a little better. The pictures aren't the best, but pretty good. I wish I could take just screen shots sometime, and also get rid of the shutter sound when I'm taking a picture... Sometimes you want to be a little incognito... Overall, excellent ! remarkable! outstanding!

I love this phone. I use my blue tooth to talk on it and love the fact that it's bigger. It works wonderfully and is very different from my old Infuse. Some of the tiny phones made are just too small for my taste. Perhaps I went a little overboard with getting a phone this big though, but I have no regrets.
Pros: Lightweight, size, battery seems to last longer
Cons: not as durable just like all cells today

Best Cell Phone Yet

So happy with my new phone. Still learning all the features, I'm a little slow at that. For my needs it's excellent I especially like the volume for the speakers it is easy to hear callers in the speaker mode. Great versatility with headphones. I've used cell devices for 20 years this is the best one yet.

This is a phone that had to be made

This is a cross between a phone and a tablet. It is a PHABLET. It has only one defect as far as I can see. It needs two speakers like a kindle hdx. Moving past that one minor glitch the software is fabulous. Making a call is a pleasure. Reading books from kindle is great. Videos and picture quality are superb. I am taking great pictures with the phone and the camera app is very good. Best phone I ever owned.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: one speaker only.

I have always been happy with Samsung products, and this is the fourth model i have purchased. The Mega is undoubtedly my favorite! Definitely will purchase the 7" model when it becomes available. I have used this Android more frequently and for more purposes than any of my other phones. So user friendly and convenient, is an all purpose tool that replaces the need to carry a laptop or tablet and phone, one great little "phablet" does it all!
