Only as good as the lens in front of it!

This is not my first rodeo and I own other full frame cameras. I shoot professionally for a living and thought this camera might be nice to have because it's #1 a Sony and #2 it's size and has a full frame sensor. I own a considerable amount of Nikon glass and Carl Zeiss lenses. I did some test shots with the A7 and the Kit lens. Very Disappointed. I purchased an adapter to be able to mount my F mount lenses to it to see if the Quality improves. Don't buy the kit lens...waste of money. Man up and get the 24-70.. f/4 Carl Zeiss lens.

I purchased about a month ago and couldn’t be happier! I come from Canon line of cameras, which are great, but I like the smaller size and the plethora of features it offers. Along with the full frame sensor with the apps you can even adjust for deficiencies in lenses! I’m still learning how to use all the features and about the lenses available! As I have only a month with it I’m sure the love affair with this camera can only grow. I can wholeheartedly recommend Sony Cameras!

Manual focus assist rocks this camera for portraits. Having been a Canon user for years, I bought an adapter and all 5 Canon lenses work flawlessly.

I love this camera so far, I've had it for a year and a half now and I honestly have no complaints. Those around me shoot mainly canon which can be a bummer at times cause I can use the adapter with their lenses but with such limited satisfaction. I am an amatuer photographer and do have to mainly work to maintain my bills. But I would love to see them come out with a line of product affordable yet moderate in their performance. It's hard to have everyone agree but using this camera has been great, I do love the photos it produces whether its in low light or just your typical day shooting. Overall I would buy this again.

I bought my Sony A7 during the summer of 2017 for a single class in college. This was my first "camera camera" ever and it's stuck by my side ever since. It's unbelievably easy to use(I didn't even need to read the manual), versatile for both photos and video(I've done jobs with both) and incredibly sturdy( trekked through rainy, humid and muddy jungles in O'ahu). As of this posting, Sony has by business for the foreseeable future!
