Adequate and quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this when my Kitchenaid dishwasher that was amazing was fried by a power surge during a wind storm. I was forced to go out on the night before Covid Thanksgiving and get a new dishwasher. I miss my Kitchenaid. It was a work horse. This Bosch is sufficient. It is okay. You never know if the dishes will be cleaned properly, remain wet or just not dried at all. It is complicated to run and had I not been in a bind, would have gotten a Kitchenaid. It is not fully stainless steel on the inside and the loading configuration is weird. It does not hold many dishes. It is okay and the price was right. They had it in stock and that was the main reason I got it. Guess I won't win the "contest".... sorry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Ascenta Dishwasher; it cleans well and is very quiet. I like the Quick cycle and the energy effeciency. My only complaint is that the dishwasher does not turn off itself. When it finishes the lights remain on. It would be nice if it lights shut off and a clean light would come on.

Using a little over a year and generally pleased

Machine works well, is quiet, and gets the job done. Easy to clean the filter, Racks a little tight - handle plates well unless they are a little thicker, then it's hard to make them fit in well. My biggest problem is that within a month or so of the year warranty, the front panel cracked, vertically, in the center. It does not seem to affect the operation of the machine, but I know it will hve to be replaced eventurally. I hate that good machines fail on their plastic parts. to put all that engineering to risk with plastic parts that break is annoying, tosay the least.
