Wonderful Addition

It also looks beautiful! My husband and I have this machine all to ourselves and other than having more racks than we need for stacking plates, we are very satisfied! Must look into Bosch in the future also.

Pro's and Con's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First the Pro's it looks great in our kitchen. This dishwasher is very quiet. There are times I am not sure it was turned on. The only downfall would be the drying, I have to use a towel to wipe off excess water for the dishes on the top rack. Consumer Reports stated that this unit is "Very Good" drying dishes. I would rate it just Good. But, in all very pleased with the unit.

Bosch is best

We have had it for about two months and as I was told by the excellent tech support rep there would be a break in period. In particular this related to a plastic or chemical odor when the unit heated up during normal use. Now that the curing process has run its course there is no more odor. It looks great and the display is easy to read understand and operate . The quick set up instructions in the manual were easy to follow and implement and the unit performed as described. The sanitize option is a plus and gives peace of mind along with the rinse aid/quick dry additive. The end result is spotless and bacteria free. The rack design is flexible and allows for various configurations of pots and pans and dishes ect. and can accommodate a large amount of items. The unit is also much quieter than our previous unit and I have heard is long lived! We really love our new ascenta and look forward to many years of uninterrupted use.
