Bosch Ascenta Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the Bosch line of appliances has a solid reputation, I have been somewhat disappointed with the Ascenta dishwasher. It was a strong wash cycle, cleans the dishes very well, is very quiet and hopefully it will last several years. However, whoever designed the interior has left much to be desired. The lower section, where plates are placed, is awkward. The front of the lower drawer is angled so that it is frustrating to put glass/china casserole dishes in for washing. I can place many plates, but I do not care for the other/front portion of the lower drawer. As to the upper drawer, I cannot easily remove the stemmed glassware holders. Although they do drop down for non-use, the holders take up space needed for regular coffee cups or bowls. Overall, the dishwasher is fine, but for the space. It is a smaller Bosch appliance, which is fine for my small home... but I would have eliminated some of the extra items (like the stemware holders and the second utensil holder) and made more room for pots/pans and casserole dishes. Thank you.

WOW what a great dishwasher!

Not only is it quite but you have different cycles to pick from. Plus if you ever have any questions you can call Bosch 24/7! I was blown away and you get a live person!.

It would be better if a filter was not needed which was the case for our Kenmore.

Great at cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I initially did not like the dishwasher that much because of the condensation feature. But after using it for a while I think it is a great appliance. It does a very good job cleaning, even greasy items. It is super quiet and looks great.

Get what you pay for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We knew this unit did not have a dry cycle. However, we did think the rinse would be hot enough to dry. Not at all. If we don't open the door after washing, they will not dry. We left the house for 4 days and came home to wet dishes. Not the greatest for cleaning either without scraping really well. Good news....it wasn't as expensive as ones that would probably do a better job.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
