need to learn how to load

Like the dishwasher, but having a hard time finding how to load it. Our dishes are earthenware & somewhat thick. It's a challenge sometimes!

Spiffy but not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit based on recommendations from Consumer Reports sight unseen. We've had difficulty with the following:
1. Things are very wet after being washed, even with a rinse aid. We knew of this complaint when we bought the unit, but we are surprised with the extent of the issue. You really would need to let things sit and dry or hand dry.
2. The prongs to hold dishes upright are very close together, which has been difficult for washing baby and toddler dishes, taller ceramic bowls, etc.. We have not found it easy to load for maximum efficiency.
3. Sometimes our dishes don't come out clean. We used the unit on the auto setting, and we've done this with rinsing and not rinsing dishes (which is the manual's recommendation), with some unclean dishes as the result. We now default on heavy duty and rinse the dishes and haven't had as much of an issue.
In the end, it's a high efficiency unit, easier in the wallet, but it may not be for you. Just do your homework and take a look at the unit in person.

NOT WELL DESIGNED INSIDE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The placement of the spoon holders. The design of the plate and dish prongs and their design leaves something to be desired. Bowls are hard to secure.

So much more quiet than our old one!

This dishwasher is the 3rd one we have had our home. The first one lasted over 15 years, the 2nd one only about 6. When we had to buy a new one, our nephew recommended this brand and so far I'm quite pleased. It is so quiet that I double check that it is running! And all of the dishes come out clean, whether a heavy or a light load. I am not real pleased with the way the racks make bowls lay on top of each other - perhaps I haven't figured out the secret to that yet! Hope it last a lone time!

A decent dishwasher

The pros of this dishwasher include the fact that it cleans well, runs fairly quietly and does so in around two hours. The downside is that the capacity is much smaller than other machines with the same exterior dimensions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
