Love this dishwasher!

Not the greatest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the quietness of my new Bosch dishwasher! And love the accuracy of the cleaning times. But don't like at all the layout of the racks. It is VERY DIFFICULT to load because of all the close together, angled prongs. Little variety to fit various dish sizes. Dishes often aren't completely clean when finished.

Good but Not Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's only been a little more than a month since this dishwasher was installed in my kitchen. It is quiet, a real plus compared to my last dishwasher, and does a good job cleaning my dishes. The normal cycle takes a longer time to complete at 2 hours, 15 minutes compared to my trusty old Kenmore but maybe that's what it takes to do the good cleaning job. The configuration of both the upper and lower racks is not satisfactory for my usage. The bottom rack often falls off the track when I pull or push it, and I really dislike the fact that the utensil box only accepts flatware placed eating end up, finding it unsanitary to be forced to handle them in that way. Lastly, the dish support rods on the bottom are spaced pretty close together, which means I must skip every other space but then can fit in fewer plates and bowls.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A new and different machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a 20-year-old Kitchen Aid dishwasher that had outlived several generations of dishwashers at my sister's home. Wile it did a reasonable job and took less time to complete a cycle, it was much louder than our new Bosch, and he racks would not accommodate as many dishes. So far, we are very pleased with the cleanliness of the dishes and the relative quiet of the machine. It will have a real test, however, to outlive its predecessor. We are hopefulfor a long life of "clean living."
