Quiet and affordable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is quiet and afforable. When opening the door there is a sound of the hinge rubbing on plastic (sounds cheap). The racks could be better designed for folks who wash alot of cups and glasses, there isn't much room for them in the top basket. We like the machine and are happy with the purchase, but those design facts need attention.

Efficient in every way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I moved into my new place there was a dishwasher that was nearly 10 years old. We tried to use it sparingly over the next 3 years, but eventually, the maintenance cost became more expensive than getting a new dishwasher. I did a lot of research and eventually found this dishwasher. There were a lot of good reviews and I read in consumer reports that Bosch dishwashers were reliable, efficient, and affordable. I bought this one since I didn't have a large budget to get a replacement. The installation was quick and painless and I was able to use it right away. This new dishwasher was more energy-efficient, used less water than my old washer, had plenty of space inside, and was way quieter than my old dishwasher. My wife and I have been using this nearly every other day. This dishwasher does a great job washing and drying even the toughest oil and grime. I highly recommend this dishwasher if you are looking for an affordable and efficient one. If you have a larger budget, I would recommend trying one of the higher-end Bosch units.

Bosch Ascenta Dishwasher

I really wanted another KitchenAid because it was so quiet you could hardly hear it running. Due to the times we're in, finding a specific dishwasher is difficult. I talked to the Bosch dealer because they had exactly what I needed in stock. I must say I am not disappointed in my new Bosch dishwasher at all. It's as quiet as my previous dishwasher and does an even better job of cleaning my dishes. I would highly recommend Bosch!

Pleasantly surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wasn't sure what to expect with this entry level model. But I'm pleased to report that all works as well as the reviews suggest. There is a thorough wash and dry on 'normal' and 'auto' cycles (the only ones we've tried so far) using the provided detergent and rinse aid. Didn't realize how badly my old machine was working before! And it's so quiet, I have to sometimes check that it's still running. Could only recommend a quieter latch (its a bit rough to open/close the unit) and a more secure bottom rack (it tends to come out of the track if I'm not careful). But otherwise, really pleased!
