Quiet!

quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] got this dishwasher to replace old one. It definitely washes much better, the duration of wash time is smaller and quieter. Installation was somewhat easy. Needed to get some additional parts that were not included with dishwasher. Very pleased with how easy it is to clean the filter in the washer. It doesn't have rinse and hold cycle, which is somewhat inconvenience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a relatively inexpensive model after reading good reviews from Consumer Reports about Bosch machines. According to CR, Bosch makes the most reliable dishwashers, and problems with home appliances are the last thing I want. I love the way it cleans—far better than any previous dishwasher I've owned—and it's also far quieter. Mine is not even the quietest model Bosch offers, either. Today's oversized dishes fit the racks well, and the top rack has two heights to choose if you need more space on top. The utensils holder is on the opposite side from my sink, which makes it a bit of a reach and the holder cannot be positioned on the other side of the rack. Other than that minor quibble I'm pretty pleased with the Bosch.

Nice quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the dishwasher about a month ago and are happy with the purchase. We replaced a 16 yr old unit that we were comfortable with but was worn out. We did some research, narrowed our choices to two manufacturers and then went to look at them in person. Some reviews noted difficult loading and looking at it in the store, it was certainly different than what we had. We purchased the Bosch based on reviews and price. We installed it ourselves and the instructions were clear and it went smoothly. Moving on to actually using it... We generally don't put pots or pans in the dishwasher, just dishes utensils, glasses and storage containers. It took some rearranging of dishes to learn how to best fit everything but we have it down now and find this dishwasher holds an extra days worth! This provides extra savings in addition to being more efficient with water and electricity compared to our old unit. Some of the features we like are the adjustable top rack, the quietness and capacity. When reviews say this is a quiet dishwasher, they aren't lying. We generally run ours overnight and could hear when the old one was running from our room upstairs. This one we can't tell if it's running when we are in the same room! There are plenty of wash options and we won't likely use some of them but for those that need them, they are there.
Would I recommend this dishwasher to someone? I did and my parents purchased a similar model and are equally happy with it.
Is there room for improvement in this dishwasher? Yes, as there is with just about everything. My biggest complaint would be the latching mechanism. It seems like I'm going to break something each time I open or close it. Only time will tell if we get the same longevity with Bosch as we did our old one but I suspect we will.

Just bought another one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my last Bosch so much that when it needed to be replaced I bought another Bosch. It cleans my dishes so well they shine. Noise? What noise!? It's so quiet I have to put my ear to it to make sure it's running sometimes. There's no more guessing what my next dishwasher will be. You know it'll be a Bosch dishwasher for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my dishwasher for about a week now. Even at 50db, the noise level is so low that I forget it's running. Dishes turn out clean unless there is major stuck-on gunk. I"m also happy that there is the overflow protector, so I can step away from the kitchen without worries now. I'm happy I splurged on this machine!

Love it! Best Dishwasher I have Ever Owned!

I also like that I have the option to change how long the dishes run in a cycle. Every thing about this machine is top notch. I would buy it again in a minute! For those of you wondering if you should purchase this machine, do not have any hesitation this is a fabulous machine!
