So Quiet!

Door latch mechanism is poor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dishwasher. It is the best cleaning dishwasher I've ever owned. I give it a 4 because it's my second one. The first one, after a couple of years, developed a problem where the door wouldn't stay shut for the entire cycle. eventually I had to jamb a shim between the door and the countertop to keep it closed. After a while, that stopped working, too. I'm not sure why Bosch is against using a door with a latch, but the current style does not work well. As I said, the dishwasher cleans dishes spectacularly and quietly, so I took a chance on another one. I hope this one lasts.
