[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Bosch dishwasher is outstanding! We couldnt be happier. The dishes come out super clean, and it operates almost silently. The countdown timer lets us know when the dishes will be done, which is helpful. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Bosch dishwashers.

Very good cleaning, but awkward loading.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The most important criterion is how well it cleans, and it does a terrific job. My only grievance is that the placement of the tines and the contour of the upper basket/drawer do not seem well suited to efficient placement of dishes and other items to be washed. In some places the tines are too close, at others too far apart. The width between rows of tines seems too narrow in the top basket, and too wide in the lower. You can fold down some rows of tines, but that makes the rows much too wide. The silverware baskets tend to catch on the side of the unit when rolling the bottom shelf in and out. The extra little semi-shelf in the top basket folds down instead of up, and putting items under that shelf is therefore tricky.
Bottom line: the dishwasher cleans very well, but the design of the baskets is not ideal. Maybe higher levels of the Bosch dishwasher series are better.

Excellent Cleaning, Small Capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old dishwasher had been doing a worse job so gradually over the years that we'd hardly noticed how bad it had gotten. The Bosch Ascenta really gets our dishes, pots, pans, glasses, etc. very, very clean. It runs quiet, too. Our complaint seems petty in light of that . . . but the arrangement of the racks and the smaller size of the inside of this dishwasher mean that it only has about 1/2 to 2/3 the capacity of our old Kenmore. We have to run it more than once a day (1.5 to 2x per day) to keep up with the dishes for our family of 4. So . . . it works well, but might be better for a smaller household.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
