Would buy again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the Ascenta because of Bosch's reliabilty record, and it's built in leak protection. Are old dishwasher leaked and damaged our base cabinets. I also like that it has a 30Min. cleaning cycle for when the dishes don't have stuck on food. That is a real energy saver. It's just the wife and me most the time and we always rinse our dishes.
The machine cleans better than all the other dishwashers I've had. I rate the Ascenta a 4 out of 5 because I believe the baskets need some design corrections. I would buy these dishwasher again in a heart beat, I'm very happy with it so far. You can probably tell by now that it is this old man that is in charge of the dishwashing. Like it or not!!!!

Great Investment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dishwasher to replace a dying one. I've had it for about 3 months and I'm satisfied. It cleans well and silently. No complaints thus far! I run it once a week with the finish brand dishwashing products. It is aesthetically pleasing and blends well with my kitchen.

A dishwasher should do 3 things: clean the dishes, rinse the detergent from the dishes so they are safe to eat from again, and dry the dishes so the owner does not have to dry the dishes by hand. The Bosch machine does the first two just fine, but it does not fulfill the final task AT ALL. I
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about my new Bosch dishwasher!! The way it cleans my dishes, everything comes out clean and dry! It runs so quiet I forget it's running. I can run the load right away or postpone it to wash at a later time. The faceplate has red numbers. I only use Finish Dishwashing products.

Works better than my old Bosch

Seems to get hard water lime off better than the old one.
Cycles are twice as long as my old Bosch.
Figured out how to just run the first wash as a "rinse and hold" cycle.
