Drawbacks: does not have a cycle complete light, I also feel the cycle is too long and the shelves are not conducive to stacking dishes.
The shelf allows standing water on the cups etc.

Almost perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was completely surprised by this unit's ability to deliver clean, dry dishes and utensiles dispite the absence of a dry heater option. This Ascenta dishwasher is super quiet and performs as well as others costing much more. I like the fact that it has two seperate silverware containers giving you the option of removing one alowing for more room on the lower rack. This brings me to my 4/5 rating, the racking is a little smaller than I was hoping for making loading this almost the equivilent of solving a Rubix cube leaving some items to be hand washed during heavier dinners. But in fairness there are two levels and my last unit had 3 although I seldomnly used that.
I would recommend this to a friend!
