"mandatory" rinse aid does not rinse off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bosch wanted my review, even though I bought this in 2019. They lost my registration and made me reregister it, so now they think I just bought it and wanted me to review my "new" dishwasher. OK, you asked for it. It cost a lot, and within 2 months the top rack started to peel and rust. They replaced it right away, and the replacement rack has held up fine, so I guess we just got a defective one. The liquid rinse aid that they insist absolutely must be used to get the dishes clean and dry leaves a residue behind, especially on glasses. The residue foams into big bubbles that look like soap bubbles when the glasses are filled with water. So I had to rewash and rinse them by hand them before using them. After a couple years of that nonsense, I finally quit using any rinse aid in the dishwasher. It works 200% better now. I'm willing to put up with water spots on the glasses in return for not having my glasses (and dishes) coated with some mystery substance that makes big bubbles when it contacts other liquids.
It's otherwise a nice dishwasher, pretty quiet, holds a lot (although it does prefer very flat plates over plates that are curved or have angled edges as my square plates do). It gets the dishes clean nicely, which is the whole point of the thing. Giving it 4 stars because of the several years of inconvenience with the rinse aid before I got that worked out.

Cleanest dishes ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is the absolute best at getting things clean. Dishes with food stuck on, utensils with cheese fused, no problem. It is so quiet that we don't hear anything in our open floor plan. The only negative is that it is difficult to load efficiently. Our cups fit only in 2 of the 5 rows on the top rack, and smaller plates don't fit easily next to each other. In spite of that, HIGHLY recommend due to the spectacular ability to get things clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 4.5 stars... Barely know it's running, very quiet. Cleans very good, always spotless. Only negative is it doesn't always dry dishes completely. Would have taken 1/2 star off for that instead of 1 star if it was an option.
