First Time Bosch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old dishwasher died. After researching, I decided to get the Bosch Ascenta dishwasher. I just fit under my counter, thank goodness. My dishes, glasses and flatware come out cleaner. I love the top shelf that accomodates wine stemmed glasses. It's quiet and efficient. Love it!

A step up from what I had....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have an inexpensive Frigidaire; it lasted over ten years and finally became unreliable. After consulting Consumer Reports and other sources, Bosch consistently came up with great reviews.
After having it professionally installed, my first couple cycles were just "OK", as my dishes seemed to have water dripping from them and lots of moisture on the walls of the unit. My old unit had a vent in the front to let moisture vent out; this Bosch unit does not appear to have a port that I can find, so I'm not sure where it vents heat and moisture out; perhaps out the water / drain? However, after reading the instructions I found I had to change my bad habits from before and use rinse agent, and be sure the unit is complete through its cycle. My dishes now come out completely dry and there is minimal moisture inside when I remove dishes.
Giving four stars for the quality of wash, the QUIETNESS of this maching compared to my old unit and apparent quality.

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love everything about this dishwasher except the silverware caddy's. They are very shallow and when emptying they don't stand up. I have to lay the caddy down. It's annoying.

So quiet and beautiful

It is so quiet, we assumed it wasn't running on the first try! It is streamlined and beautiful. The basic insides are all we need and it works so well in its cleaning! Got for my mother, who is 94 :-)
