Not your best effort

The design of both interior racks is horrendous. You have slanted the uprights; most of them are totally immoveable. This does not allow odd shaped dishes, baking dishes, pitchers or trays. Some of them are much too close together for cereal/soup bowls. My flatware pieces nor most kitchen utensils do not fit in your pre-sized dividers of your holders. You have moved the flatware holders to the side of the rack, not conveniently in the front. I cannot move them to the front because of the permanent, slanted uprights. Also,everytime I want to add one spoon, the enitre door and rack have to be opened the whole way...very inconvenient. These holders also tend to flap around as they are not securely "hooked". The indentations for stemware in your upper rack are too small to hold my wine glasses stems...they are a complete waste. Having the detergent land in a "special basket" also wastes space on the upper rack. The time of wash cycles is extremely long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this Dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My GE dishwasher went belly up after 2 years, right after the warranty expired. I called a repairman to fix it, but he said the control panel was shot and it would cost $600 to fix. That was about what I had paid for the dishwasher in the first place. I asked the repairman what kind of dishwasher I should buy next. Here is what he said: If you do NOT buy a Bosch, buy an extended warranty. See what he did there? He does not get anything out of saying that, so I know he was speaking the truth. I had a Bosch in my last home, so I was like "OF COURSE I SHOULD BUY A BOSCH!" It isn't anywhere near the top of the line unit, but it does a perfect job of washing and drying my dishes. Check back with me in a couple of years to see if I am still as pleased, but I feel sure I will be!

Interesting arrangement

Bosch Dishwasher - Washes, but the Engineering?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the outer looks of this dishwasher. We had a prior Bosch, and it lasted forever. Once it dies, we went with another. This one, starting with the front, the plastic push buttons feel a bit cheap, and I'm afraid with time they may not last long. But I do love the washing features.
On the inside, WHO DESIGNED THIS THING?? Things do not fit like they should, everyday items like plates, bowls and cups are awkwardly placed like that junior high dance where no one knew where to go, or how to stand. The cutlery portion are apparentely the cool kids, because that's the only thing in the dishwasher that knows what to do. Overall, it's a good dishwasher that gets things clean, but after 2 months of using, it's still annoying to load.

Fast Wash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not our first dishwasher after 50 years of marriage, plus I used to have an appliance store, so we knew what we were looking for at this stage of life.What were those things. For starters stainless steel tub. If there was any disappointment it was that the bottom of the tub was not completely stainless steel. It is plastic, but Bosh must have had a good reason for that. The selling feature is that any componets under the dishwasher are encased in plastic container areas, and I believe have a sensing device should you have a leak because I read it will shut the inlet water off should it sense a leak. Since our previous dishwasher had a leak and ruin our cabinets and more, this is hands down the best idea every. The other featuer my wife likes in the 30 minute wash. Really! The dishes come out as clean as if washed for 2 hours. Yah, we rinse our dishes first, but is there anyone who doesn't? This makes for a fast turn around of dishes and no more waiting to fill the dishwasher. Would I recommend this product? Of course.

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher has been wonderful. It is very quiet and simple to use. The dishes are coming out cleaner than they ever have with our older non Bosch dishwasher. Installation was simple and quick as well.
